IB Career-related Programme (CP)
The IB Career-related Programme (CP) is an innovative and internationally recognised pathway designed for students who wish to combine academic study with a clear career focus. Developed by the International Baccalaureate (IB), the CP provides students with the opportunity to engage in a rigorous and challenging education while developing the practical skills, knowledge and experiences required for future success in higher education, apprenticeships and the workplace.
The programme is built around a unique combination of academic and career-related learning. Students study a selection of Diploma Programme (DP) courses alongside a Career-related Study and the CP Core, enabling them to develop both subject-specific expertise and the transferable skills valued by universities and employers worldwide. Through this balanced approach, students become confident, internationally minded learners who are equipped to thrive in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
At EISM, students enrolled in the Career-related Programme study three DP courses, including English Language and Literature, Mathematics and a Language Acquisition subject. In addition, all CP students complete the four components of the CP Core: Personal and Professional Skills, Community Engagement, Language and Cultural Studies, and the Reflective Project.

As part of the Career-related Study component, EISM currently offers Pearson BTEC International Level 3 qualifications in Business and Sports, with additional pathways planned for the future. These qualifications provide students with valuable industry knowledge, practical experience and real-world application, ensuring they graduate with both academic credentials and career-ready skills.
