12/13 Years System Guidelines
Whilst Emirates International School is a 13 year system, some schools are a 12 year system. In accordance with the KHDA regulations, EIS takes into consideration the age and the child’s current grade/year group to place child in the appropriate year group. Please refer to the table below that indicates the equivalent year group at EIS when students are transferring from a 12 year system. Age will be determined as on 31 August of admission year.
